I got home after work and decided to mow the backyard. Abe decided he needed to be in the backyard also. I decided to put him on the chain to keep him out of the flower bed, grass clippings, and trouble. Of course I had to open the back gate so he could supervise me otherwise he barked at me. Anyway this is a picture of the straw boss!

A dog's gotta help his people. :D They make excellent supervisors. Good boy Abe!
They think they are missing out on something if they are not around to help out.
Abe has to know WHERE all his people are at all times.
Frequently he will position himself in an area in the house that allows him to see both of us and keep track of us. If only one of us is at home he is very keen to any noise and is very unsettled until the one missing is home. Kind of a nice feeling!
